In advance of the show opening, we walked through James Bridle‘s new show, “A Quiet Disposition,” with Joe Hale, Director of College Exhibitions at the Corcoran. Bridle is an investigator presenting, as Hale puts it, “research-driven projects” that use publicly accessible mediums such as Instagram and Google Earth to address the pressingly-current topic of surveillance and weaponized
drones. Seeing as Mr. Hale is a personable and narrative-driven speaker, we decided to take this opportunity make our first Unveiled podcast, and let him describe the exhibition in his own words. Enjoy and come see “A Quiet Disposition” at Gallery 31, on view June 19th – July 7, 2013.
